SACRED MOTHERLAND EXPERIENCE INDIA RETREAT
WITH AUDREY AND JASMINE
SACRED MOTHERLAND EXPERIENCE
March 16 -25 | 2020
This trip is for the spiritual adventurer ready to experience Indian Culture. It’s for those ready to create a deeper knowledge and connection to the divine, connect with a larger community of traveling yogis, make friends for life, and broaden your wisdom and love for yoga and for ALL of humanity.
We will dive into the heart of yoga each and every day, immersing ourselves in grounding and uplifting yoga classes, chanting mantras, attending offering ceremonies, visiting ashrams and temples, cleansing our mind, body and spirits, all while opening our hearts and coming alive in Mystical India!
Audrey and Jasmine are excited to travel to India together for this heart-expanding adventure with an amazing group of seekers and adventurers. We look forward to this journey with you! We promise you’ll always hold a special place of gratitude in your heart for this trip.
Audrey currently calls Bali her home and Radiantly Alive her home studio. She is the founder of White Peacock Yoga School and owned a yoga studio for several years in Encinitas, California.
Audrey has travelled to several areas of India on her own Pilgrimages, as well as led others on their pilgrimage through Rishikesh. She loves the vibrant life of Rishikesh and finds it to be another place of home each time she returns.
Audrey has led international retreats for 7 years, and creates a sacred and safe container filled with compassion and acceptance for each individuals journey. She humbly shares yoga as a form of self-discovery, self-awareness and self-empowerment, rooted in many traditions including Ashtanga, Bhakti and Tantra Yogas and Western Traditional Mysteries.
Jasmine visited Bali for the first time on her honeymoon and felt the calling to make it her home. Not only that, she is now the owner of Radiantly Alive Yoga Studio next to her husband and partner in crime, Rafael.
When Jasmine visited India for the first time, she was recently pregnant, and Rishikesh touched her heart deeply. She made the promise to go back every year, and is now excited to experience this journey with others.
Her loving and nurturing energy creates a safe space for others to open up, feel held and supported. She is a passionate yoga teacher and whether its a powerful vinyasa class or a gentle Yin, her focus is on cultivating presence, one breath at a time.
High above the silvery flow of the Ganges River, on a swaying suspension bridge, you find the remote town of Rishikesh, India. Its magnetic vibe attracts many spiritual seekers and religious pilgrimages. Not only because of the healing powers of the Ganges, but because this town is the birthplace of Yoga.
Not surprisingly in 1968, the Beatles came to this corner of India to study transcendental meditation and find a deeper meaning to life. They studied with Maharishi at Mahesh Yogi’s ashram and wrote over 40 songs. Many of these found their way onto the 1968 White Album.
Many still follow in their footsteps to learn yoga, study ancient philosophy, spirituality, and to de-stress.
Rishikesh can be broken down into the Sanskrit words of hrishika, meaning ‘senses’ and isha, meaning ‘lord.’ The name can also be translated as ‘lord of the senses’, referring to the Hindu god, Vishnu. By law, the region is vegetarian and alcohol free. Rishikesh is a powerful place, come and experience her with us!
